Bring down a rampaging monster

Monster Defeat is a free action-based game in which a monster is on a rampage. Before he can be confronted, however, your job is to destroy a well-armed enemy fortress. You have both guns and ground troops to do the job.

Although the title suggests a Pokemon-style monster battle game in the vein of Monster Fight or Monster Hunter Fight, Monster Defeat actually takes its cue from Godzilla. The player takes control of human forces against a towering monster that must be brought down.

The gameplay in Monster Defeat might sound a little complicated at first, but in fact, it is relatively simple. At the start of the level, the player is given both a helicopter gunner and an army. The army goes into battle automatically, while the helicopter gunner is manually controlled from a first-person view.

Destroy the fortress, beat the boss

Each level in Monster Defeat has two stages. First, you will go up against an enemy fortress. Your job is to blast away with your helicopter gun while your troops on the ground help out. When the fortress is destroyed, you'll encounter a boss monster that you can bring down with the same combo of ground and air power.

Bring out the big guns

Besides regular ammo, you can use special weapons in exchange for watching ads, including a bomb, missile, and laser — each designed to do great damage. The game is designed to ensure your fire is harmless to your own troops, which means players do not have to worry about collateral damage.

Unlock weapons and monsters

Completing levels gets you coins, which you can use to upgrade your army and firepower. Along with new monsters to fight, you will also unlock new guns. Despite these elements, the game does not offer a great deal of variety and can quickly feel a bit repetitive.
